This responsive website is part of a seasonal campaign of Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), a national organization of 1,400 local chapters which provide after-school programs for young people. National Boys & Girls Club Week is the seasonal campain in which BGCA shares the Boys & Girls Club story with the public and demonstrates the powerful impact Clubs have in their communities.
I updated and enhanced the code and worked closely with the graphic designer to implement new graphics for this 2014 campaign season website.
I determined and added media queries for the responsible design of the site.
Added a Video Playlist Viewer
I configured the the Memorable Alumni Moments video grid using Wildfire, a Google social media marketing tool for pages, messages, ads, promotions, monitoring and analytics. The videos are housed on YouTub
Made the Find a Club Page Responsive
The Find a Club page, I loaded into a FancyBox (jQuery plugin) window via an HTML iframe tag. The individual videos and statistics images were also loaded in a FancyBox for display purposes. Social media icons were coded and loaded into the title (bottom) of each Fancybox window.
